topshop dresses and barry m

i have reserved this dress, it will be mine! i'm going to have to borrow the money from somewhere too cause i dont get paid till the begging of next week and they can only keep it for me until sunday!

anyway i tried it on and i really love the pattern, it's still got a winter/spring colour palette but i can wear it in the summer too! and when i go on holiday with the girls. WE OFFICIALLY BOOKED UP TO GO TO CORFU TODAY. too excited.

i'm trying to get away from black dress and heels for a while. it's my safe outfit, but i need to inject some colour somewhere!


i also thought i'd write a little about these GORGEOUS, eye pencils i got free yesterday.

me mam came in with sugar magazine for me, she'd only bought it because it had these three, double ended eyeshadow pencils from barry m. i tried them out today, and i love every single colour. i'm not really and eyeshadow person either, but these have converted me.


this morning i did some projection photography, yet again using my friend gabrielle as a model. i'll edit some up and post them later on tonight hopefully. but first i have a staff meeting at work! byebye!! xxxx

their time is running out

my photography brief this year was 'time'. i toyed with a few ideas initially and i had this 'endangered species' idea in the back of my mind. after relaying it to my photography teacher, he put me off the idea saying it was to vague and blah blah blah.

but after thinking it over and researching it more.. i decided to defy him! i've chosen it as my theme/project and i'm giving it a fashion related twist.

so here's my initial "furs and leather" fashion shoot that i'm going to give a morbid twist later on this week.. for more go to my flickr

here was today's outfit, however i swapped the jacket and fur stole for my new dusty pink cable knit cardigan for work.

i'm not really to great today.. i've pretty much failed at getting myelf sorted and missed the deadlines for applying to two universities, two of my top three uni choices too! i done 11-5pm at work today and i'm knackered now. early night for me.

i'm going to try to get my act together tomorrow!

oh-emma's giveaway

sometime way back last year i entered a give away by the lovely emma for the chance of winning a cute little owl clock necklace.. and i actually won! we'd both forgotten about it completely, but emma just remembered after looking through her old blog posts and sent me this lovely little card and parcel of things!

the little clock necklace is so sweet and the bracelets are cute, beady, silver and duckegg - perfect.

i got a lovely nude lipstick which i actual love and have worn all day.. it's kind of frosty and has some lovely blue hues to it. i also got an elf nail varnish that is a lovely nude colour too.. can't wait to try that out..

a long awaited splurge

i finally felt well enough and had enough money to go shopping properly today! last time i attempted the metro centre, i had to come home i was too poorly!
