yesterday... kirsty, charlie and i had a long awaited trip to oxford street so we could go a little bit mental with our loans. i haven't bought new everyday clothes in about 6 months, just the odd bikini for summer. so i thought i deserved a little splurge. however! i've got a new job now too - so i can work some more hours to make up the substantial dint in my bank account!

i love everything i bought, especially the boyfriend coat. i've been after one since last winter but never found the perfect one for me. a coat thats oversized but flattering, tweed but not in a garish blend, the right length on the body and the sleeves. i paid £70 for it, which i am still having to justify to myself, i never spend that much on anything! but i will get a lot of wear from it, it's very versitile and warm. i do love it.

my naughty student loan wishlist

i need this lot.. im definitely gonna try mixing more prints, patterns and textures over winter. it's kind of stepping away from the minimalism i've become to comfortable in over summer, i think this mix will mix up my plain wardrobe perfectly

exhibition | damien hirst

beautiful, sparkling, organised, tedious, revolting, decaying, cruel, living, conceptual, expanded, psychedelic, disturbing, ridiculous, perfect, intricate, saddening, sentimental, eye-opening, stupid, insensitive, breath taking, shocking and unbelievable were some of the thoughts and words that sprung to mind as i walked around the damien hirst exhibition at the tate modern in london on it's closing day last week. so insane, so good.
