it's time to meet beau

i think it's time for all you lovely people to meet the cutest little thing in the world. my flatmate's kitten, beau. beau's mother is a cute little tabby cat and her father is a big proud ginger cat, who looks exactly like thomas o'mally from the aristocats!

charlie bought her from next door as they were selling the kittens, our friends bought beau's brother - who they called toulouse (also a cute aristocats reference). i'd never really had much to do with cats at all before beau, so i was a little bit wary. however she settled in amazingly well and has found a little place in my heart. i was a total dog person, but now i'm converted and like cats too! she's a little tinker sometimes - but she gets away with murder because she's so cute!

cornwall round two

i've just got back from a road trip to cornwall with my housemates to stay at kirsty's home in beautiful st. cleer, cornwall! it was just as fun as last year (see the post here) but this time we saw even more sights and scenery that cornwall has to offer. we stopped off at stonehenge on the way too, a pleasant and unexpected surprise! i got to spend time with kirsty's beautiful dog ellie and new puppy maisie so we walked golitha falls and hurdles with them. we had ice creams at sibleyback lake watching the wakeboarders and bbq's at ruths house in the town centre. we also visited beaches a plenty, fistral beach and the beautiful whitsands. we had an amazing day out in newquay visiting cafe irie again cause we loved it so much last time! but my week of bliss is over and i'm back in london now - more blogging to commence!
