sometime way back last year i entered a give away by the lovely emma for the chance of winning a cute little owl clock necklace.. and i actually won! we'd both forgotten about it completely, but emma just remembered after looking through her old blog posts and sent me this lovely little card and parcel of things!

the little clock necklace is so sweet and the bracelets are cute, beady, silver and duckegg - perfect.

i got a lovely nude lipstick which i actual love and have worn all day.. it's kind of frosty and has some lovely blue hues to it. i also got an elf nail varnish that is a lovely nude colour too.. can't wait to try that out..

i can't actually believe it.. the give away was so long ago now.. i'd never even gave it a second thought, but it was a lovely surprise today! so thank you emma!

a long awaited splurge

i finally felt well enough and had enough money to go shopping properly today! last time i attempted the metro centre, i had to come home i was too poorly!

cable knit cardigans make me look even fatter but they're so comfy and warm.. a new baseball top and some black shorts i got the other day..

i've been insanely busy over the last month or so.. christmas shopping/christmas day/new year's eve+day/full timing at work/nights out/college work/meals with the family and so on...
