london.

day two.

after our extremely early night i actually woke up wide awake at 6.30am. we got ready quickly and walked around the lock to take some pictures for photography at college etc. it was really weird seeing the place so quiet and calm compared to the hustle and hectic feel yesterday.

we then all had breakfast in wetherspoons, pancakes! mmmmm. here's dominic in wetherspoons.. deciding on what breakfast to have.

we then had another camden stroll and caught the tube into london city centre to hit the shops.

we then got the tube to oxford street. we hit the huge topshop first, and shopped every corner of it.. then bershka for gabby. its her favourite shop and was devastated when the last one in the north of the country closed .. so she got her fill in there.. haha.
i got a jumper and some wool leggings in topshop and a aviator jacket in bershka. then we ran out of time!! i was a bit pissed off that my mam dragged me out of the shops, but there was everyone else to consider too i suppose ;) hahah.

we then did a bit of sight seeing, we went to visit eros in piccadilly circus. i nipped into boots to buy some more colour film for my canon ae-1.

then we had a beautiful lunch in grace's - i had a thai green curry which was heavenly like..

our site-seeing map.

we then went to trafalgar square to visit nelson's column and the national portrait museum. the weather was beautiful.

we looked around the museum for a while... it was pretty ineresting. the detail on the really old royal portraits was astonishing and the contempory art was mind blowing. i didn't take these pictures though, you're not allowed to inside the museum.

blur portraits by julian opie.

one artist sculpted his own head out of pints of his own blood! it was kept inside frozen silicone and was really disturbing and weird but such a cool concept.
marc quinn was the artist who scupted his own self portrait from frozen blood. here's an article on it incase you're interested.. it's so weirdly wow.

queen elizabeth prints by andy warhol

we then went back to into camden... to get ready for WE WILL ROCK YOU at the dominion theatre at 7pm.

we got back and got ready.. (gabby's pictures cause i didn't take any..)

we will rock you was absolutely amazing. i'd like to be meat, or scaramouche any day! and i want all of the bohemian's costumes to wear everyday too.

sheer brilliance. i still haven't got any of the queen songs out of my head.
