collar tips: ebay, shirt: charity shop.
hello! above is the picture of my new collar tips, which i FINALLY hunted down on ebay (here). i bought them for about £2 and p+p was about £2.50. so they were really really cheap and i couldnt be happier! they're literally just clip on designs. it all started back in september after seeing lucy williams (from fashionmenow.blogspot.com, i put her picture from stockholm streetstyle below) sporting the much coveted zara studio shirt with collar tips at london fashion week! i've been on a mission to find vintage style ones ever since!
another recent purchase is this shirt which my tips are clipped onto! i've been seeking a black shirt for ages and after high street shops just weren't delivering the goods i had a good rummage through epsom's charit shops. i found this beauty in the british heart foundation. i adore the slouchy fit, it's from the mens section and the subtle jaquard vintage pattern all over it! £4 well spent.
so i've added some collar-spiration to this post! i couldn't find a decent picture but watch rihanna's we found love video.. mel ottenberg styled them onto rihanna's shirt in the skatepark scene - when she's wearing the navy cap sleeve shirt and creepers, love it.

i love the look of the collar tips! i've been eyeing them off on ASOS for ages but i haven't been able to spend $15 on them, but i'll definitely get some from ebay if they're that cheap on there.

Hey I was looking at the ebay ones you said you bought and was thinking that they didn't look like they would fit women's collar tips very well, as my shirts tend to be a bit more pointy than that - did you find that or is it easy to fit them on no matter how pointy they are?

the backs off them open up, then you squeeze them back into place to hold them on the shirt :)
