dungeness and camber sands

today was the strangest of days, i woke and got ready really early because me and the girls had to pitch our concept for our university project this morning, and somehow ended up travelling 81 miles south east to dungeness in kent then on to camber sands beach town, all for some location test shot photographs!

it was the most surreal, and creepy place i've ever been - it felt like a different country completely. a world away from the hustle of surrey and london. everyone was really slow in pace - well, the limited number of people that we did actually see because it was so desserted. the landscape was beautiful though, especially when it's iced with snow.

walking onto the beach was strange too, we hadn't even realised we were right beside the sea until beth noticed a few grey waves breaking in the not too far distance. no sand, pebbles or dunes - they were all sleeping under the snow. and hearing the pebbles clicking and crunching together underneath the blanket of snow was the most peculiar sound.
