the collection was inspired by the 30's, 40's and 70's classic silhouettes which were then modernised through contemporary detailing and styling. i love the mixtures of leather with lace and fur with suede. the shoes and boots are pretty timeless and neutral.
these six are my favourites from the lookbook, which can be found on miss selfridge.com. personally, i like and prefer the monochrome looks, or outfits with only a hint of colour. however there are also some lovely, bold, jewel toned ensembles complete with opaque coloured tights that create colour 'matches' instead of clashes (here and here).
