focus | stitching and spotting the stars
as any long term followers will know, i'm kinda of obsessed with thinking and freaking myself out with thoughts on space, the universe, stars, planets and life. my christmas presents from my mam and my housemates definitely reflected that this year.
after stitching the january 'capricorn' constellation into my beautifully screenprinted calendar this month in amazing glow in the dark thread... i went outside for a bit of star spotting with my housemates as the sky was beautifully clear... and sophia heard that you might be able to see the northern lights between 12pm and 3am! doubtful.. we tried anyway but just ended up star gazing.. picking out as many constellations as we could. i photographed my favourite on my ... you guess it, NEW CAMERA again.
betelgeuse, a red giant above orion's belt.
the 'plough' as part of ursa major (the big bear)
the most part of orion and some of of taurus, with some of my and my neighbour's house.
